How do I know how many colours is my publication made of?

In polygraphy colouring of the printed products is expressed by numbers from 1 to 5. Because there is a possibility to print on both sides of the page, the colouring of both sides is indicated (for ex., 1+1).

For example: 1+0 means that this is a one-sided print and only one colour is printed (usually black or one of the Pantone colours).
2+2 means that this is a two-sided print and it is printed in two Pantone colours if Pantone dyes are used. If Pantone dyes aren‘t used, the colouring would be represented in CMYK colour coding system and would be 4+4.
4+4 means full colour print from both sides.

If you aren‘t sure how many colours make up your product, if it‘s CMYK or Pantone colours and the product is colourful, choose 4+4 option.
