When other printing technologies are used print forms are needed and they are manufactured for every order – once you use a print form, it can‘t be reused again. You shouldn‘t forget that machine preparation is calculated into the price as well and is proportionally divided to every single copy. The price of forms and the cost of machine preparation stays the same no matter if you print 1.000 or 10.000 copies of the same publishing.
